Dear RECAP Stakeholder,

Let us emphasize that the goal for this communiqué is NOT to solicit donations from you.  The opposite is true.  We are trying to discover ways to raise money WITHOUT having to solicit personal donations?

RECAP is pursuing sources to diversify our traditional income streams (government grants, fundraisers, etc.) with an earned income venture. This venture must give RECAP more stability to accomplish our mission, which is to mobilize and coordinate public and private resources to address the basic needs of  low-income people while they attain the skills, knowledge, motivation and opportunities needed to become economically self-sufficient.

How can our Stakeholders help?

• Give us your input/concerns/opinions
• Answer the attached survey and return by 3/3/08 (short turn around, but we hope you will take time to help!)
• Stay involved with the process – read progress reports, attend general meetings, voice your input, ideas, suggestions, concerns and more.
• Attend the Open Stakeholders Meeting on March 11th at the Middletown Thrall Library at 10:06 a.m.
• Check www.recap.org/SocialVenture for additional updates and opportunities to be a part of this exciting new venture.

We are extremely excited about this journey and hope you will join us.  Together we can continue to sustain the mission of RECAP for many years to come.
