Staff

The Energy Conservation Department includes the Division of Housing and Community renewals Weatherization Assistance Program and the New York State Energy and Research Development Authority’s (NYSERDA) Programs. 

Each provide energy conservation activities and other services designed to help families use  fuel more efficiently and save money on energy expenses. 

In addition, the Department addresses the emergency repair needs of elderly persons and the disabled to include minor modification of a residential home to allow access and the utilization of the home by a person with limited mobility. 

All programs have limited funding.
