In-House Application Process PDF Print E-mail

Through the In-House Application Process (IHAP), our case managers visit families who are applying for temporary assistance. They observe and address a family's need for services and provide a strength based assessment which may include financial, housing, legal, medical, safety and social issues. The knowledgeable case managers review the applications, determine what services may be needed and work to resolve immediate needs like food, housing, medical care, etc. Case Managers refer clients to other available community resources and work with the consumer while they apply for them.

IHAP has two offices in Middletown and Newburgh, making their services more accessible throughout Orange County.
