Through collaboration with other agencies and granters, RECAP helps eligible Orange County residents back to self-sufficiency by providing rental assistance. The help relieves some of the financial pressure while participants learn to live without a rent subsidy.
Housing Opportunities for People With AIDS (HOPWA) Offers a subsidy for people with HIV or AIDS.
Shelter Plus Care An OASAS-funded supportive housing program for low-income singles and families who are in recovery from substance substance abuse. Participants access resources to achieve self-sufficiency and continued sobriety.
Veterans Supportive Housing Program Permanent supportive housing for eligible disabled homeless veterans. The program consists of 11 single room occupancy units in the City of Newburgh.
Veterans Shelter Plus Care Program Addresses the unique housing and service needs of homeless veterans with mental illness or a chronic substance abuse problem. Most participants reside in the FDR VA Hospital Domiciliary Care for Homeless Veterans in Montrose, New York. UNique to this program is the case management provided by the VA hospital. |
